The Pululahua Hostal is an absolute treasure: spectacular scenery, unique plant and wildlife biodiversity, a dazzlingly beautiful topographical location, and unfailingly excellent organic meals. Plus, the hosts are courteous and a joy to be around. It´s been an exceptionally fun, exciting and enjoyable stay.
Me, my son and a friend went for a weekend to Pululahua and had a very memorable stay. We got very nice food, hiking in the mountains and valleys, fantastic sceneries and exciting trails. We had a relaxing time in the jacuzzi under the stars. We had a ride on the horses up from the Crater, wow! And we feel that we will come back sometime, though we live as far as Sweden. If you have got the possibility to go to Ecuador and Quito. Don't miss the Pululahua Hostel experience. Ulla Arnby, Sweden.
We had an absolutely amazing 4 days at Pululahua hostel. When we weren´t horseback riding down pre-inca trails and cloud forests, or climbing mountains, we were either eating fabulous organic home grown food, relaxing in the jacuzzi, or getting addicted to the unique and delicious black russians (you must try these). Staying in this unique location is really special. The hospitality was second to none and the whole experience really was the highlight of our trip. If we´re back in Ecuador any time soon then we´ll be sure to come for another stay! Thanks a lot,
Sitting in front of the computer here in Wales, I can still remember everything about our weekend in Pululahua as if it were yesterday. The view from the rim, the ride down into the crater, the treks, the scenery, the amazing variety of flowers in the forest, the gorgeous food, relaxing our muscles with a beer in the jacuzzi under the stars, amazing coffee (best in Ecuador - our supply is still going at home), the eco-ethic that the hostal is run by. And as for the welcome, man the welcome: never have I stayed anywhere where, as a paying guest, I've been treated so much like a dear and welcome friend of the family. As the man said "Everything is low-key, except the service!". Cheers Renato, see you again one day, maybe.
